NANOFLUIDS TO ENHANCE PERFORMANCE QUALITY OF THE SMALL REFRIGERATOR
Abstract
Nanofluids, being a colloidal solution of metal particles and their oxides in the base fluid can significantly increase its thermal conductivity. This aticle addresses a method of improving the thermal conductivity of isobutane R600a, used as a working fluid in a small refrigerating machine. The enhancement of thermal conductivity can lead to improved performance. The performance of the condencer is given as an example of thermal conductivity enhancement.
